Every day most of us click a photo or 2 on the phone.

This thread is for ordinary type photos that you snapped today.
They might be about the boat, about your life, or where you are.

They don't need to be artistic 'wow' photos, just a snap. 😊😊😊

They don't even need a caption.

A couple shots from Sunday onboard Synergy with the Starbird crew. Reaching toward home in gusts in the low 20 knot range, surfing and hitting 10.5 knots under reefed main and a 110% jib a moment before the first picture was taken.

Wood Flooring Floor Composite material Gas

A warm winter in NY has kept fiberglass work rolling.
New stringers tabbed in,, coated in Semco liquid membrane (guaranteed for 15yrs as a pool liner)
As of today new plumbing is run and started templating plywood shapes for floor.
I've been referring to myself as "Bilge Boy"
Repairs to port and starboard settee's then it's off to the engine room ;/

This is "Ragtime" Hull 399 S2 7.9 first time with 155 up. In this picture you can see my synthetic lifelines, my sail catchers, and most importantly the new bowmar forward hatch.
This was last weekend. Winds were light, but just enough for me to properly shake down the boat, and sort out installation of the tiller pilot.

Boat has a long way to go to be perfect for my own use, but she's in decent shape.

When Mark created this thread, I believe that the idea was to give us all a chance to see glimpses into the day to day lives of our fellow SailNet denizens. In other words, conceptually, most of do not live by sailing alone and so the idea was to get to better know the person who had bellied up to the bar next to us. With that in mind, here are some pictures from yesterday. Yesterday, I had a chance to visit a house that I had designed and which had been completed about a year ago. I had not been there for a while and so it was very heartening to see the home completed, lived in and enjoyed by the owners. I had taken some scouting snapshots in preparation for more professional photography and possible publication. Here are a few of those pictures, This was a remodeling project of a house built in the late 1940's and remodeled in the 1980's, so there are some before's and after's from yesterday.

Meet my $50,000 hole in the ground! A part of preparing my mom's house to go on the market was finding the old underground oil tank and removing it. The tank leaked. Now we have to remove all contaminated soil. So far we have removed 85 tons of contaminated soil and they are still digging.

This is the type of thing I am dealing with instead of playing with the boat!

We walked from sea level. Only 535 calories? I think I know how to rehydrate after that! 🍻 🍻 🍻 🍻
