Daily Photo - Not Special, just often

23974 Views 569 Replies 42 Participants Last post by  Zanshin
Every day most of us click a photo or 2 on the phone.

This thread is for ordinary type photos that you snapped today.
They might be about the boat, about your life, or where you are.

They don't need to be artistic 'wow' photos, just a snap. 😊😊😊

They don't even need a caption.

New furniture washed up on our neighborhood beach this winter. You have to keep a close watch while you are under way with beasts like that floating around out there! View attachment 146850

yup. In Spring we have someone on bow spotting for those monster logs floating at surface level. Birds sitting on them is a blessed warning.

The powerboats like to hit logs at full speed. Makes quite a bit of noise when they do.

And what type of pony is it?

The donkeys are miniatures. They're cute, but kinda weird because their heads are almost full-size, but they're on these small bodies. The mini horse is some sort of Shetland pony, I think. Again, pretty cute, and really funny to watch when the big Kentucky plays with him.

Basically, my task here is to keep them fed, watererd, and warm (when it gets to extreme cold). But mainly all I do is shovel shyte. They're fun to talk to while working though.

I have been SUP camping around the Florida Keys for the last couple of days hoping to get an American Saltwater Croc on film. No luck.
But today I did have a huge Manatee, probably a 10 footer swim under my Paddle Board. I got this Board from my wife for Christmas so O am still pretty new to the sport but this gentle giant swam only inches under my Board and I didn't feel a ripple.

Nice broad reach sailing Jamaica to Cayman Brac. Had current against us the whole way, but still made good time.

That looks, from the photo, like a very serious non-factory arch supporting just a couple panels that are set way back. Please explain?

I'm lucky to be on the committee boat at the Heineken Regatta in St. Martin. I'm in a location where it is hard not to get some good pictures! I just finished culling the over 1000 pictures down to a manageable number and have put together a page with the picture grouped by day (and one group showing the volunteers at work). If you want to look at them, just click on the link below to visit the gallery.
