Spring has arrived in Vancouver! Even some brave sun bathers getting an early start on their tans!
Show off :p.

A friend just sent me a picture of our boat.

12 C out of the wind, lying in the sun is good. 12 F is not so good LOLOL

To be the first of the season with a tan is important... girls for looks, guys for health - Vitamin D

As for swimming in 12 C air temp, whats the water temperature? Its got to be freezing!

Water temp was probably around 10°C. The ocean holds a lot of heat! In winter the water temp is usually warmer than air temp.

Mike,
Oddly enough I got a pic of Chouette today, by accident. Someone put up a pic of that black steel schooner for sale on Kijiji and and Chouette was in the background.

Looking forward, but gonna be late again this year. Life and family stuff.

Lucky find Howard. I assume she’s looking good. I’ll be happy to check in on her once we get there, but that won’t be till early June.

Do you know if the Schooner sold? I couldn’t find it on Kijiji.

I still don't know how you tack a 150 footer. I guess just twiddling switches?

When stuck in a rolly anchorage, might as well make it a rock and rolly one...
Great pic. I'm not a musician... so whats with the headphones and little box on the bottom of the guitar? Is that so you can get the music full volume without the anchorage thinking they're in an AC/DC concert?

That's because Michele is not the huge fan of the Sex Pistols and Buzzcocks that I am. When she isn't aboard, or when someone anchors too close, I plug into the amp for all to hear...

That little box is genius - it contains electronics that cover just about any sound or effect that is usually done by boards full of foot pedals and amp controls. Delay, flange, reverb, overdrive, feedback, distortion, chorus, etc. All for $40. She wouldn't be on the boat without it and the headphones.
