I'm going down to visit my boat, only for a couple of days. I hope to sail her on tuesday. Anyone want to daysail? I'm a lifelong sailor, but the boat is new to me. She's a 39' Alden Ketch. I'll go alone if I must, but it would be easier with a capable crew. Anyone?

Argh! Wish I was a couple hundred miles to the south. That sounds like fun, WanderingStar. A friend of mine had an Alden Ketch, and he loved it so much that he named his youngest daughter Alden. Good luck to you, Cap'n!

Nic, I'm flying down, possibly to move the boat to another slip. I have to take the opportunity to sail her, it's freezing in NY.

Daysail and trip to new homeport this spring

Looks like you'll have good weather for your slip change. I won't be available for offshore trip back to Port Jeff. Hope that you have a great trip
