I wholeheartedly agree that I prefer sailing to a destination. It doesn't even have to be 10 miles and it's always the getting there that is the most fun for Nikki and I. One day last week, we left Chatham Bay, and sailed around to Clifton to clear out. Then up the anchor again and a half hour sail to Petite Martinique for fuel. Then off to Tyrrel Bay in Carriacou. All told maybe 4.5 hours of sailing, but 4 places, 3 islands, in 2 countries, all in one day. What fun.
