Does anyone else use a decoy dingy while they are away from their boat? We have a cheap roll up we use to put in the water behind our boat so it looks as if some one is on board. I don't know how many times I've seen empty davits and a closed companion way screaming at me no body's home. I also don't mark our real dingy so no one knows what boat it came from, that is also away to tell every one which boat has no one on it when you see it ashore. I have painted the name of the mother boat on the bottom of the hull because no one ever looks there and it might come in handy if the dink is ever stolen. We do alot of international travel and not marking the dingy has never been a problem. So what do you think?
