Would appreciate opinions/information on Dehler 36 ft. boats from the mid 80s to early 90's for use as a coastal cruiser. I have learned some things but not much from a site search and the company website. However there seems to be little information from owners.

Thanks

While I haven't been on a Dehler 36.. from what I've seen of my friend's Dehler, they're quite nice boats. Pretty solid and generally designed as high-performance cruisers, rather than pure cruisers, and with those limitations, quite good.

Deheler do good stuff. They have a very good rep in Europe. Don't see many of the older ones down here but from what I have seen they are the goods.

I'm not sure about the 36 but the 34 of that vintage was designed by Van de Stadt and is a fine boat....same basic design as the Womboat.
