Okay, here's a stumper.

Cleaning out my new to me boat and digging around in the aft end area, I found a transducer that I did not know was there, presumably for depth sounder or fish finder/depth sounder. Unfortunately, the PO took the unit with her. Sooooo...... Any of you gurus recognize the style of transducer? I'm thinking humminbird, but definitely not a newer style. I'm hoping I can find an older unit on ebay or such.

Also, is there anyway to determine if the transducer is still viable oir should I just give up and purchase a whole new unit.

The transducer looks nothing like any hummingbird transducer I've seen in the last 40 years. I suspect it's an old Prostar, which hasn't been made since the late 1980s and probably would nut function on any newer model because of a host of electrical differences.

That's always possible. The boat is a 77.
