I need a triangular dock box but $300-500 ain't in the budget. Anyone find a more cost effective way to have a box? Thanks...

How much of a triangle? Could it be one o'them truncated triangle trailer boxes? Mebbe venture into *another* project and build-to-suit?

30 years ago, all you ever saw were homemade dock boxes.

Yeah I was thinking to just build one. Will have to check with marina on requirements I suppose... wish I were a better carpenter. :)

Google is your friend. Plenty of plans, you would only need to customize for the space you have available.

I'd just buy one of those giant plastic storage boxes from Rubbermaid.

But those aren't likely triangular.

Brad

Don't know if you will be banned from marina but very low cost, however not triangular.
Plastic drum...30, 55 gallon size...actually a HDPE open head drum can be had
for very low $ especially if used/recycled (white food grade cleanest) Thinking $30-40.?

Our marina does ban dockboxes. I was not happy at first, but it really does clean the place up and prevent storage of too much junk.
