Recently had to replace my fresh water pump on my 2003 Yanmar 30GM30F and found it easy on the starboard side petcock with a right angle fitting and a bolt on the bottom of it.

Now the port side had me and my bad eyes scratching my head and unable to figure out how to get it to drain. Tried multiple allen wrenches to no avail and ended draining as much as I could from the starboard side prior to taking off the pump.

Any body have a clue as to how to loosen the petcock to drain the coolant and try to keep the mess to a minimum. Want to flush my system so want to remove as much as possible and probably run through fluids multiple times prior to putting in fresh coolant.
