hi, I recently acquired a 73 Dufour 41 - referred to as the "Sortilege" model. (not the later "Classic") it is a ketch and also available as a sloop.

Flush deck, walk thru to small aft cabin and fin keel. Sailboatdata has basic stats for the boat.

Initially I will be using it for part time live aboard and also will be fiitting it out as a test bed for certain innovative "off the grid" technologies that will have uses to boaters as well as land based folks.

Eventually she ( Sea Witch III ) may take me offshore.

If anyone has any information or stories to offer, please post up.
I understand there are more in Europe and at least 2 in charter, including one in Madagascar !

Hi there Seahorse . I am looking at one of these to buy
and wondered how it has been as a boat . I have heard the
Sortilege had some issues which the Dufour 35 1972-81
improved on . This is only a vague comment I read in a magazine .

I have some documents in french on your boat if you want to pm me.

Regards
