I purchased a 1981 Whitby 42 last summer. I kept the boat on a mooring with almost nothing powered except for the bilge pump. My propeller hub zinc was completely consumed in 5 weeks. Any ideas how I can test for current leakage? Where should I start to look for the source? The only other odd thing I observed was that my Kiss wind generator turned very slowly all summer. In the fall I disconnected the wind generator to prepare to pull my mast and the generator turned much faster. I suspect that the generator is mis-wired. Could this be related?
