When the yard boys unstepped my mast they neglected to unhook the network cable to the radar antenna and yanked both end couplings off. Should I have new ends put on or a whole new cable. Thanks. Al:confused:

Better safe than sorry on day 2 of a foggy passage, yes- either new ends or since they are buying (or should be) a new cable.

Garmin sells a kit for new ends. You will want a RJ45 crimp tool and the terminals. The cables are also A/B.. A new cable is likely less expensive if you don't already have the means to make an RJ-45 crimp....

The Garmin network cables are 4 twisted pair, shielded, Cat5E, 24AWG stranded, bare copper. The drain wire is tinned.

I usually use the Platinum Tools EZ-RJPRO HD CRIMP TOOL part #100054 and the shielded EZRJ 45's part #100020.
