Hi All,

This might be linked to my new thermostat temp of 180. After running at cruise RPM (2300) for 2 hours yesterday, I pulled the RPM back to around 1000 and the oil light and buzzer did this real fast flashing thing until I bumped up the throttle. But when we headed back to port and just slowly brought the revs down, never got the light. This has never happened before, but yesterday the engine ran at 180 deg for the 1st time. I am running Delo 400, straight 30. Thoughts, concerns?

Dave sounds to me like a sudden drop in pressure caused by rapid throttle change just slowthe rpms a little slower next time allow it to equalise to the lower rpm and lower pump output that's all doesn't sound like anything to be concerned with
