Hello,
Has anyone out there seen or have or know anything about B&G's Forward Scan Sonar? I sail in very thin water (head of the harbor in Nantucket, Katama Bay, Menemsha Pond, Lake Tashmoo, Lagoon Pond, Cape Poge Bay on Martha's Vineyard, Westport River) and was wondering how well this system might work. The website says that it can provide forward looking data up to 10X the depth of water in front of the boat.
I would think that if one were to motor a a very slow pace in shallow water that this could work very well.
