Hi,
I recently stumbled upon what I thought was a treasure trove of charts on my local craigslist. However, what was listed as 50 charts of the BC coast turned out to be 50 charts of South East Alaska. Many of these charts are expired*, but many are also from the past five years. Some appear to be "official" NOAA charts (sorry, can't really tell - I'm Canadian and not familiar with US charts!) and some appear to be from a private company. Most are in pretty good shape, though they have a few navigational annotations on them. There are a few small-scale charts, but most are quite large-scale. I think they were possibly used by a dive company.
As I have no intention of going there anytime soon (but sometime!) these are just taking up a lot of space at the moment. Do you know anyone who could use them? If you're willing to pay shipping, I can send them to you. Or feel free to come pick them up in Vancouver, BC! If not, they'll be posted back on Craigslist. Hope these can be of use to someone.
NB. Cruisingdad recommended posting these here.
*YMMV with expired charts. To my knowledge, rocks don't migrate all that much - lights and markers do though
Don't blame me if you have problems with these!
