Has anyone out there had the experience of spilling fuel while heeling? This is not a problem of overfill. If my Beneteau 311 heels too far to the starboard (on which side is the fuel vent), I spill fuel, regardless of how much or little fuel is in the tank. Thanks

Sounds like your vent tube may not lead up high enough before going down & out. They''re usually led up to the top of a hanging locker, near the cabin top, before turning down to go overboard. If the vent us ending up underwater, it could also be siphoning fuel out the same way an exhaust loop that doesn''t go up high enough can siphon seawater into your engine (and sink you) when you''re in reverse or a high following sea.

Great News..... the dealer might have finally come through for me. It seems that there should be a loop, that''s not there,in the vent line.... let''s see if we recify the problem.. Peharps it''s clear sailing from here!
