I acquired a 1985 Morgan 43 CC ,furler was a Harken (old, storm damaged) , going to cruise mostly, possibly some club racing later. Kinda like the Profurl equip A little confusing abou the EC , NEC and classic systems. I do like the idea of having the sail closer to the deck. I'm on Lake Ponchatrain in New Orleans lots of light air but it can blow at other times of the year. Major investment and could use a lil direction. Thanks sailbear50

Harken, ProFurl, Furlex, Schaefer, and the Rolls Royce of Furling Gear: Reckmann are all good furling gears IMHO. I've owned ProFurl, Harken, Furlex, and Reckmann and liked them all, but my preference should be obvious from the first line :)
If you're daysailing, the cheaper models should provide great service too.

Facnor is one that Joms has left off his list...and it should be on there.
