Morning all,
I'm looking to replace my galley faucet. When I take a look under there it is very difficult to see what is going on up at the area where the faucet mounts to the sink / counter top. However I see (2) 1/4" copper tubes coming down and attaching to a brass manifold as I recall. Can anyone tell me if these copper tubes are simply hose clamped or otherwise to the faucet intake plumbing further up near the countertop? Given PSC's thoroughness in design I'm gonna guess that this tubing is actually part of the stock feed for the faucet.
Given that these are pressurized feeds I may want that design to be incorporated into any replacement faucet I may choose rather than simply doing any hose clamps. It looks like a real PIA to get to the faucet to remove also. Anyone have experience with this and know of any magical spell that will make this easy on me? Perhaps my boat guy who is far better at this kind of stuff than I will ever be will simply shrug this off and think nothing of it.
Thanks to all and have a great New Year
