Gulfstar CSY 50

Hi,
I am considering buying a Gulfstar CSY 50, but have never found any useful information regarding the sailing qualities of this boat. Specifically, I would like to know if the rudder is hung on a skeg, or is a spade rudder. How close will this boat point to the wind? How tall is the mast? How sea kindly is the motion on this boat? Does anyone have any line diagrams of the hull configuration? Are there issues with hull/bulkhead/deck integrity? Is osmosis a particular problem with these hulls?
Any comments would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Doug Clark

I dont know these boats, so I cannot comment on their quality or characteristics. As for line drawings, look at this website and see if you can find the brochure to the boat you are looking at.

Thanks, but unfortunately, the boat is not listed there. Only 17 of these boats were made by some resurrection of Gulfstar, between '86 and '89 from what I can find elsewhere on the net. If anyone has any other information, I would appreciate it.
