Hello all - Wally here, on Gypsy Wind, a 1975 Dufour 34, bright red. I'll be leaving Annanpolis in November, headed south for the Bahamas and then on to Cuba - I'm Canadian, home port in Georgian Bay.
Some of you may know me from my articles in SAIL magazine or as a cruising writer for Waterway Guide. I'll be speaking, on Cuba, at the Annapolis Boat Show this fall - I cruised the north coast there last winter.
I am currently completing a CD for boaters undertaking their first trip down the ICW - it's based on my presentations at the Toronto and the Port Credit boat shows as well as various articles in SAIL and other publications.
If you're headed south this fall, give me a shout, let's see if we can hook up along the way.

Welcome, Wally. Sounds like you've got some interesting tales to tell. Hope you post some of your articles here on the Net.
