I plan on singing this sailors Thanksgiving ditty at the table today. Hoping to start an annual tradition:
THE BIANKA LOG BLOG: SAILORS THANKSGIVING

"Whats that sound?
It's the gravy boat coming around
It's not a Navy Boat
It's the gravy boat
"

Happy Thanksgiving fellow sailors!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Christian. Are you going to make a special turkey paella? ;)
Being our first event here we where invited to a very southern meal with turkey, ham, dressing and many side dishes and desserts!

Had the best turkey day in quite awhile. Bunch of salty dawgs cooked on their boats but came over to eat and drink on my boat due to my having AC. Played Willie,Eric, Pachebel etc. once sun went down could turn off AC and genset. Guests did the dishes clean up and we chatted into the night. Was the next day before everyone left. At one point 9 sat down to turkey with all the fixings even home made cranberry sauce. Today filled the dinghy with dead troops for the garbage barge.
Hope all you always have much to give thanks for

Living in Scandinavia I am not used to the Thanksgiving tradition, but I kindda like the idea, and I did have poultry tonight.
Happy thanksgiving to all on Sailnet. I am thankful for living in the free world, being a sailor and getting a lot of useful tips on sailing here. Pretty much in that order.

Wait: You give your location as "New England," and people flocked to your boat yesterday because you have A/C?

Something strikes me as incongruous here
