Hello. I have a Yanmar SB12 and the shift is stiff. It takes quite a force to shift to forward and reverse and back. I am wondering if this is normal as I just bought it. I have broken 2 shift cables now. I want to fix it before I break another one. Any ideas why or if this is normal? If anyone has a similar engine please describe how the shift is; easy, hard, clunking into gear? thanks!
