For our last night in the US, we're anchored and rafted to Melrna. We had a nice dinner, and we're just hangin' out for the night. Tomorrow morning we head to the Bahamas. There's a tracking link on the right side of our blog... s/v Pelican - Following A Dream.

Well, it's about time! :)

Fair winds, and a chubby crossing.
Have fun... :)
I hope the crossing is smooth and the Bahamas are all that you have dreamt about Labatt.
Have a safe crossing!

Wait for the right weather windows to travel through the islands as weather this time of year can be boisterous.

Get ready to fall in love with the Bahamas!!
Your Spot Track makes it look like you are within sight of Bimini... Have a grand time and take loads of photos, we want a full report.
Fair winds
Congrats!!!

Congrats on the crossing-looks like you are within shouting distance. We spent a week in/around Bimini back in October-its fantastic sailing grounds, as you will soon learn. I think you'll find the Bimini marinas to be a little different than what you have likely become accustomed to in recent weeks-heh. Beautiful water out there. Congrats, and fair winds. Keep the updates coming.

We ate freshly caught grilled Mahi on board almost every night when we were there. Drag a pink squid-type lure as you sail along the edge of the shelf and you'll do the same. Man, I wish I was there now!
It lookis like he is anchored at Honeymoon Harbor at Gun Cay.
