anyone know anything about a vanguard zuma and how they would perhaps compare to a laser? thanks.

They are the same boat.

They are NOT the same boat. The Laser is more of racing design, with a rounded hull profile. This makes her faster, but less stable than the Zuma, which has hard chines. Additionally, the Zuma has less sail area (64 sq. ft.) to the Laser's full rig of 76 sq. ft. This also makes the Laser faster.
