Does anyone fly a heritage (family home country) or coat of arms penant from your spreader halyard?

Very topical thread with the 4th coming up. We fly our YC burgee, followed by our officer pendants on the Stb flag halyard and the Norwegian Vimple on port. When the nephews come on board, everything comes down and up goes the jolly roger. We fly my dad’s presentation flag off the backstay on all national holidays.

Now Paul, may I remind you that you're the one displaying the Red Ensign and provincial flag in your signature line? And another thing: Where can one buy a decent and proper captain's cap? All the ones I see on-line are cheap costume type crap!

I'm an Englishman in BC. The tub just has the Maple Leaf hanging off the back (although I do have a Red Ensign to pop up on the spreaders if so inclined).

Is that Mrs. Bucket (pronounced Bouquet)?
Yep, but I pass it off as our Anniversary Photo. My former dockmate used to get a little miffed by people asking if his "Cross of St. George" was a Swiss Navy Ensign.
