Hi!
I've been reading these posts for awhile, posted once and thought I'd finally introduce myself!
Live in the Boston area am looking to get a 24-28 ft by May and will liveaboard it this summer (similar to camping, I know but that is what I like and can afford). I'm not a total beginner but pretty close. Intend to sail as much as possible. Have done ASA 101-104 and crewed quite a bit but feel like I need my own boat to actually advance.
If any of you know of a boat for sale in good condition (working motor + good sails + solid decks & rigging), under 29 ft, on the Atom's Good Ol' Boat list and less than $12K in the area, give me a shout out! Every boat I call on in yachtworld or craigslist is already under offer pending survey. Wanted to put this in an ad but couldn't figure out how to start a new one on here sailnet.
Please stick to the above mentioned list, condition and location if recommending a boat! Intend to get a mooring on the North Shore unless the boat seller offers a mooring elsewhere.
