Hi all. I'm hoping this site will help me thur the winter months. I can live vicariously thur those of you that still have good weather to sail with. Last weekend I took the boat out of the water because I could see myself in a cold fall downpour motoring across the lake to the boat ramp. Now it is as if all of the fun is gone here in the refrigerator of the midwest Indiana.
I want to retire to the west or east coast. Which way is the question. I'm drawn to the water now like the people where drawn to the mountian in that movie "Close Encounters of a Third Kind".
Can't wait to meet you all.

Gigi,

Welcome aboard! Glad to have you. Most of us work through the winter months here (Sailnet is slow during the summer, guess why!). As we are approaching the winter, you will really see it get busy with people like yourself. Come about Spring, the tempers around here are flat out flaring... but most have settled in with their fix about fall. You picked a great time to join.

Great to have you and welcome aboard.
