Hey folks, I have a Pearson 26 that had a collapsible Nauta holding tank under the port settee which....ummm..exploded (I'll spare the details). So question; what should I replace it with? I have a large freshwater tank under the V-berth and there is room to put a tank there but I don't want the smell in there as I sleep in the V berth often.

Any suggestions for: Type, location & size?

I also have a Pearson 26, but with a Porta-Pottie so I cannot be of much help, but that exploding tank must have been an ugly incident!

I realize I'm resurrecting a very old thread, but I'm currently facing pretty much the same dilemma. I'd like to replace the old, smelly flexible bag in my Pearson 26's dinette locker with a rigid tank. There's not much space there for anything of appreciable size; the opening is 14" square, there's only 10" height clearance on the port side, and 22" in length available. That's without allowing for fittings. Any other p26 folks here solved this issue? How?

Thanks..

Barry
