Yes. I own one. Doesn't get used much because most of the pad eyes we need to grab are too small for the Hook and Moor to fit. Very smooth when it works but heavier than a regular boat hook. So basically it ends up as our backup boat hook.
I played with it at the boat show and didn't like it at all. If it is even slightly twisted, it gets all jammed up and gets stuck on the cleat. Now you're connected to the cleat with a rigid pole and your line is all fouled up too. It didn't strike me as practical, especially in challenging, reaching situations where you would need it most.
Play with it before you buy it.
