I''m seriously considering buying a 1983 Hunter 34 which is in clean and good condition. After looking at 100s of boats on the internet and 25+ in person, we selected this boat based on solid appearance and amount of boat for $. The survey indicated no structural problems, no blisters and very little maintenance needs. I am a converted power boater with not a lot of sailing experience. I will be sailing in the southern Chesapeake Bay, mostly weekend cruising with my wife. Any feedback would be appreciated.
