Hoping someone out there can help. We are repowering with a 1994 Remanufactured M25XP and a Hurth 150V vdrive. Pos A 2.99 ratio and Pos B 2.22 Ratio. My question is how do I know which way the selector shaft turns to get Pos A. And what turn prop will it be?

Perfect that is what I was looking for. Now the second question I did not see anything in there that stated if it would be a RH or LH prop. Any Ideas? Thanks Scott

Scott,

"A" is usually the opposite rotation of the engine output shaft, "B" is usually the same rotation as the engine.

If you were to stand over your engine, facing the bow, if the output shaft of the engine rotates clockwise then in "A" the propeller would turn counterclockwise or Left had Rotation position "B would turn the same as the engine or Right Hand rotation.

The gear box doesn't know what engine you are going to connect it to so the direction of rotation is determined by the engine.
