Have been living in east Tennessee all my life. I want to get out of here and learn to sail. Does anyone know of a way that I could hang out and get to know people, perhps liveaboards in the coastal regions of the south (florida, south Carolina, north carolina)? Someone who could teach me a bit of coastal cruising for about 5 or 6 days at a time? I would greatly appreciate input here as I am very eager to get on a boat and set sail. I have two more weeks of vacation time this year and is love to spend it with some great people while learning to sail. Thanks!

Also from EastTN, we have great lakes here.

Watagua is full of sail boats, and I dream as I see them, last week or two there were about 10 out all tacking and it looked awesome.
