I saw a Lofran Royal manual windlass yesterday for sale at 450.00$. I would like to have your opinion on ways to install it on my bow.What are my option? Remove captsan(winch), remove cowl vent and use the hole as spil pipe and install cowl vent to where the spil pipe is now ?
Or simply install windlass to where capstan is and move the spil pipe foward ?
