Greetings,
I'm hoping to buy my first sailboat sometime in the next year. I am planning on sailing to and around the South Pacific in a couple of years. It has been a long time since I last sailed (early 90's when I lived in USVI) so I am spending the time before buying a boat researching and learning as much as I can about everything nautical, including information to help me decide what kind of sailboat I really want. A lot of it will be re-learning but I anticipate a great deal of new knowledge is to be had and I look forward to discovering the information the members of this forum will impart.
