It's been a longer, colder, wetter than normal winter...

...around here, and it's probably coming again, but it was nice yesterday!

Had to chase the wind around a bit, but found it in spots on our little lake. Overall a pretty good day.

Lovely. A day on the water is worth a lot. We are getting another foot of snow tonight and thru Thursday. We are maybe a month and a half from splashing.:)

Yesterday was pretty nice. Getting a forecast today of 78°F. Gotta enjoy it while you can. ;-)
It hit 75 here yesterday. I did a little work on one of our boats, but I had to go take care of some business on the other end of the state, that took up most of my day, (but I did get to drive down the beach for most of the trip).

Lot of people on the beach for a Monday. :D
we did have a few drops of wet stuff in barra......
usually not wet in winter. err, high season here...we did send a lot of moisture to the northeast of us...
We're under a winter storm warning for 12-20 inches of snow over the next two days. I love winter, and will take advantage of the snow to get some turns in on the mountain, but yea, I'm ready to move toward sailing season.
25 this morning. 45 right now. Tonight . . . 20 and 6" of snow to add to the 4'-0 that I still have on my lawn. BVI in 21 days.
Nice to know someone is out there sailing north of the little latitudes.
Today, the temperature climbed into the lower 60s, which felt great compared to what we've experienced most of the winter. This is the longest, coldest wettest winter I can recall in my 73 years on the planet. Tomorrow's forecast is for near 70 degrees and then the bottom falls out on Thursday, 29 for the high and the possibility of freezing rain or snow. Damned I hate winter in Maryland.

Gary
Aagh! Another 8 inches of snow forecast for Michigan and below freezing temps. I've had it.
damn you guys must be the new north pole...we are spozedly gonna have an early summer, which is not good...we have pre-summer winds already and usually dont until april or may.....hhmmm
We're scheduled to get 12+" here in the Adirondacks. Let it come because this time of the year it doesn't last for long. Sat out on the deck today, 54 degrees, the sound of snow melting, warm sun. Next comes mud season, July 4 and winter again:)

Southern California was 79 and 23% humidity. I think I love the dryness more than anything. It makes my hair nice.
