My kill switch and blower are one in the same. I pull out the knob to start the blower and allow the engine to fire once I push the ignition. For the first time today it didn't work when I pulled it out. No blower and no ability to start the engine. We were coming in to the mooring at the time so I just continued on and jiggled it until it worked. Once on the mooring it was hit or miss when pulled. What should I be looking for tomorrow when I go out? I didn't have a lot of time to investigate when we got back on the mooring today.

Thanks in advance.

....or corrosion. Pull the switch out and clean it up, including connections.

Pull the switch and soak it with aerosol contact cleaner.(I like Caig best, but it is hard to find) If you can get to the contacts you could clean them up with some very fine grit wet/dry sand paper. Depending on the switch it may be easier to just replace it.
