Hi all, while I'll probably just be a lurker for a while, I hate to troll forums without at least introducing myself. I currently live in Minneapolis and am really only doing lake sailing on Minnetonka and similar lakes through boat clubs as my wife and I gain experience enough to decide what we really want in a boat. We've both been through ASA basic and are going to coastal cruising this winter hopefully. The long term plan is to start cruising in 5 years so we've got a lot of knowledge to absorb in that short time. Meanwhile we'll be getting as much time on the water as our short warm season allows.
