Arrgh, how do you escape this landlocked feeling? I'm missing the feeling of the deck under my feet, the boat tilting as she accelerates. Have to get back on the water.

NEXT winter, maybe I'll keep the boat in the water. Have to put the bottom paint on thick come spring. Then I can get some winter sailing in.

Arrgh.

Being here in Colorado - I dunno what to tell you.

I'm so anxious to just get out and start sailing... I've been on the boat almost every day working on SOMETHING. haha.

(And I've not even had the chance to get out on a boat in several years)

I know what you mean about working on her. I was working on my frame for the tarp again last night. I have about 600 feet of PVC pipe almost completely put together and ready for the two tarps I bought. It's modular, so I can easily take it apart and put it back together.

I'd like to actually get out sailing though.

Me, I am on the downhill slide. Survived November and December only got to make it through January and February. With the AFOC meeting sandwiched inbetween there, before you know it, its time to paint the bottom.

OK, so it there really an AFOC meeting taking place? And just how much of an AFOC do you need to be/not be in order to go?

I need an excuse to go to Chicago, you see...

Bene,
Yes there deffinitely is an AFOC meeting taking place.
This will be our second anual.
Many people are coming from out of town, so you will not be the only one.
The gathering is on Friday January 30th.
Strictly Sail is going on that weekend and we have a couple of other things planned.
Pizza on Saturday evening, Sunday bruch for those that are interested and I am sure that there will be several members out on Rush & Division somewhere along the way.

Gentleman....you are aware that Rush/Division is known as the "Viagra Triangle," right? ...For all of the upper aged men trying to score hot youngin' girls.

Bene-
I'm with ya...this off season is KILLING me. The worst part is that I keep dreaming about sailing and it feels so real that when I wake up, I'm p-o'ed.

As soon as the snow melts, I'll be out at the yard...have all sorts of projects planned...and I'm hoping someone can offer tips on how I should paint my bottom (seriously)!

See you at the AFOC meeting!

Don't mean to rub it in, but the wind is finally up in sunny southern California and we are in for some good sailing this winter. Must have been 50 boats in the harbor on New Years day with spinnakers flying. A very impressive sight. Hang tough guys, spring will be here soon.

True. When, by simply mentioning their weather conditions...they have already rubbed it in...AND KNOW IT! Jerkoffs!

If you sunny climate people had to suffer through winters indoors while dreaming about your boat...you'd appreciate our pain!
