Xort is right. I really don't mind the posts from those more fortunate in winter. After all, many of them need air conditioning come summer.

Besides, something has to fuel the desire to migrate with the boat one day.

I believe that Sir Baron was reffering to the fact that Huricane Season in the South is no picnic.

OK, so I see the avatars here and they remind me how much I want to go sailing. Arrgh. How many weeks left, anyway?

True. When, by simply mentioning their weather conditions...they have already rubbed it in...AND KNOW IT! Jerkoffs!

If you sunny climate people had to suffer through winters indoors while dreaming about your boat...you'd appreciate our pain!

Oh, and there was no boat in the picture. Works better if you show off the boat or some sailing.

I'm not much a picture taker but here are a couple to warm you up--it was over 100 degrees and little or no wind. A friend just had to go out and I am such a push over for a winch.

There was just a breath of breeze on this late Sept. day.

The company, food and beer were good but the speed--

I did get this cool camera. It is just 2X3X1/2 inches. I plan to take more pictures in the furture. It even makes movies up to 30 min on a 2 gig card. If I just remember to take it.

Here is a 2min movie made just to check it out.

Not sailing related but it showes the ability of the camera and winter weather.

I hope to figure a way to hoist it up the mast just for fun.

Excellent idea. I'll have to do that with my boat. Maybe use an old tripod mount.

Thanks for the links to the pictures. (Can you embed them next time? Use the little button with the 2 mountains and the yellow sky, right above the typing window.)

Nice pics. Like you said, not much but still enough to make one pine for some sailing.

Also good video. I didn't want it to end. Nice how you mounted it so firmly. (And could see you being carefull, slowing down for various reasons. Too bad that car got in front of you. I'm sure you passed him later on.)
