Most companies actually don't underwrite the policy on boats themselves they use formost marine to underwrite for them and then charge you an agent fee ask whichever company you get quotes from who actually does the underwriting then contact the underwriter directly it I'll be cheaper in most cases.just my two cents worth and there are many threads on here dealing with insurance.
