Several years ago, storm surge cause my boats bow pulpit to hit a piling and bent it backward about an inch, not enough to be a problem and i find no structural damage.
However, it did cause the lifelines to go slack so much that all the adjustment does not remove it. I could cut it and then put in a turnbuckle but am loathe to fix something that isn't really broke.
So, does anybody know of a deice that would fit over the lifeline and allow the slack to be removed by turning a screw or similar. Such would be easy to make but if it exists, why re-invent the wheel.
