I would like to live aboard on weekends through the winter - on 37' monohull. Any suggestions about leaving in water or keeping on cradle? Where can I dock? What about snow and ice build up? What is best heating arrangement?
Thanks!

There are plenty of weekend liveaboards in Boston who keep their boats in the water. We have had quite a lot of ice buildup in the inner part of the marina, but much less the further out you go. The marina staff break up the ice if it gets too thick.

Shrink wrapping (in my opinion) is a must, but if it's done right you don't have to worry about the snow build up.

We have a dickinson propane stove and love it, but a small electric space heater is nice to have on hand as well.
