glad to hear you missed me.
i must get down that way one of these days.
i am running low on rum, however.i thought i would go to the bahamas first then mosey toward the panama canal.
eric
I would be interested in your trip. I wanted to spend the winter in the Bahamas in 99, but my crew was not. I own a Coronado35 here in Detroit, and I''ve chartered seveal times in the Caribbean. I like to snorkel and I make an excellent rum punch...
When do you plan to go?
Jim (carib99@yahoo.com)
jim,
i''m in a bit of a quandry i want to go to the bahamas but my wife loved the bvi''s last year in any event we will be going to one or the other around october 25th.
eric
eric,
BVI is nice. That''s where I''ve done most of my chartering. You could island hop thru the Bahamas and then spend some time in BVI.
Late Oct works for me.
Jim PS Cruzan Clipper rum (product of St Croix, USVI and sold in BVI) is my choice for rum punch.
Would like to know more about your trip. I''m a lifelong sailor, have done charters in the Caribbean, own a Jeanneau 27, 48 years old and ready for an adventure. Please include dates, in/out locations, and such.
