Where are you located? Do you have a boat at present? Look for sailing clubs around where you boat, they are great for traveling in a group from place to place as you go on cruises. Great security!

New hampshire might work. I haven't been there in near ten years but I remember it being very nice. I'm currently in Knoxville, Tennessee.

I'm in VT and am in need of 1-2 people to help me sail on Lake Champlain. I sail a Catalina 36. Let me know if you might be headed to New England.

Some more information might be helpful to anyone willing to help. How far are you willing to travel? What are your skills? What type of sailing are you looking for: coastal, inland. What safety equipment do you have of your own? What are your expectations of the week?

When we hosted a couple who we only knew through SailNet, a fair bit of advanced planning went into having near-complete strangers on our boat for a weekend, let alone a week.

Sorry about the lack of information, outside of the books we have read my wife and I have no practical experience. We have no gear, and wouldn't mind coastal or inland sailing. We aren't very picky as to where but the east coast would be best. We aren't looking to crash anyone's party, we are just looking to have some fun. I sincerely appreciate anyone who would be willing to tale us on as crew, as I realize this is no small favor. Thanks!
