Again, a very well written and enjoyable piece.

One nit, however; when you remove the trailer connector closest to the engine, rather than replacing with butt splices, it is a good idea to use a terminal strip, and ring connectors.


Not only does it cost more (and thereby help the marine supplier economy), but it allows you to remove one connector to troubleshoot, or all the connectors in the event that you have to remove the engine.
