Hi Folks. Been into sailing for about a year and a half. Started with a Flying Scot which got us hooked.
Found a MacGregor 26S for a great price and decided to move up.
Question is There is a slight bend in about the top 1/3 of the mast. No cracks or kinks . It is a 1995 model and I believe it the original. A friend who has a lot of experience told me not to worry about it, but I always like to second opinions.
Thanks in Advance

Many fractional rig sail boats are designed to bend slightly in about the top third of the mast. Has to do with main sail trim.

IIRC, the MacGregor 26S is fractionally rigged, and the bend may be normal. Provided the mast itself is not kinked, it shouldn't be much of a problem.
