Boat U.S. has an advertisement for MagicEzy 9 second chip fix. Does anyone have experience with the product or something similar?

I have not tried it. I have been waiting for feedback from someone with experience using it. I may try it next spring.

Not me.

I noted that it says it's "elastic", and if you want high gloss, coat the chip fixer with the hairline crack repair. That's.....peculiar.

And, it says it's guaranteed for three years. Woohoo (note sarcasm).

I've always just used Marine-Tex, and if I wanted glossy, I'd put a bit of clear packing tape over the repair whilst curing

Marine tex is good stuff but there are fifty shades of white brighter than.

My personal experience with anything that has Magic or ezy in the name of the product is neither. Not saying it is not a good product, just that the name looks to be made for late night infomercials.

I guess the real question is how hard is it to remove when you want to do the repair correctly and does it contain anything like silicone or other nasties that will make future work harder.
