Can anyone guess what the graphic on main is supposed to represent? Boat is a new to me 1978 Bombay Pilothouse 31. This sail came out of the bag marked Main #2. It is roller furled and I guess lose footed though there is a track in the boom as well but no signs any sort of car for the track. But that graphic is a mystery.

I have wondered about the cut of the main as well. But both the bag and the sail are labeled "main 2". I still have access to the seller who confirms it was the main. I am meeting with him in a couple days to go over a few other questions but I will be asking about this as well...

The clew on this sail seems very highly cut for that boom. The foot appears as if it will be below the boom if the out haul is properly tightened, unless this is an optical illusion.
I'd also have to agree that this is a jib, no matter what it is labeled.
