My new to me motorsailor needs the electrical system updated. Can anyone recomend a comprehensive book on the subject for someone who has basic knowledge but still needs quite a bit of practical experience. The boat will use both shore power and 12v.
Thanks

Good to study up. Electrical systems are the number one cause of boat fires, by more than all other causes combined. Be obsessive with quality connectors, wire sizes, fuses, chafe protection, etc.

DC also causes the vast majority of electrical fires over shore power. However, that's likely impacted by not all boats having shore power.
